About Lena Janelle

I am an up-and-coming UX/UI Designer based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Market, I recently obtained my UX Design Specialization Certification from Google. I also hold a Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Merchandising Management and Home Furnishings and a Minor in Marketing Management from the University of Memphis. I am interested in visual design and user research as a future focal point for my UX/UI career. Please continue reading to find out a little more about me.

people leader

For the last 7 years, I have been in upper-retail management at a major corporation, with a heavy focus on visual merchandising., Being immersed into the lives of various types of people and observing how they interact on a daily basis allows me to utilize my visual skillset in an productive manner that creates a journey and cultivates feelings. I enjoy observing problems and using my creative problem solving to create lasting solutions that make sense. I am the go-to person when things go wrong and they need a quick, but effective solution.

Creative passion

Aside from my retail background, I have a very creative side that dabbles in graphic design, clothing design and clothing construction, modeling and photography, vlogging and video editing and just about every creative outlet I can test out. This creative side fuels my mind and allows me to remain comfortable and confident in an ever-changing environment.A keen visual eye is a gift and I prefer to use my gift in every aspect of my life. The visual aesthetic of things is by far one of the most impactful parts to good design, but is often left to the wayside. I am here to change that.

Values

I have two young girls who look up to me and expect me to give the greatest example. The best example I can ever give them is that they can do anything they put their mind to with a level of excellence they can only imagine. I believe all people have a unique value they bring to the world and the differences we posses create something beautiful. I enjoy putting the value of equity into play every chance I get.
